If I am elected, I will undertake the following measures for the development of the area under the jurisdiction of the local self-government institution.We will continuously strive to make our ward, and our Mahim area, one of the best localities in Mumbai. To achieve this, we will make dedicated efforts to establish a hospital in the area as well as to develop a sports ground. In fact, after being elected, I give you my word that these projects will definitely be completed within the next five years.Although there are private hospitals in the Mahim area, our resolve is to establish a multi-specialty hospital where common citizens can receive all types of advanced medical treatment at affordable rates.We also plan to develop a well-equipped sports ground at Desai Maidan. Now that their work has been completed, the land has been handed over to the Mumbai Municipal Corporation, and a well-equipped sports ground along with an astro turf will soon be developed there.There is also a major issue of illegal parking in the ward, especially along Senapati Bapat Marg. To resolve this, vehicle parking facilities and pay-and-park spaces will be developed at various locations. This will curb illegal parking, ensure availability of parking spaces, and allow citizens to make better use of vacant areas.I will remain available to citizens for any issues almost 24 hours a day, and I will continue striving to make Mahim clean, beautiful, and well-developed. Through cleanliness, disease prevention, good roads, healthcare services, sports grounds, quality roads, flyovers, pedestrian bridges, footpaths, and other strong infrastructure, citizens' lives will be made more comfortable and convenient.
