Solid Waste Management: Considering the public solid waste problem in my ward, my effort will be to implement door-to-door waste collection, segregation of wet and dry waste, distribution of dustbins, and installation of garbage bins and underground garbage bins wherever possible. Public awareness campaigns will also be conducted to educate people. Social Security: I will always strive to provide a fearless and safe environment for the residents by installing a CCTV camera system in the ward and increasing police patrolling at maximum places during the night. Traffic Congestion: To solve the complex problem of traffic congestion in the ward, action will be taken against unauthorized double parking on roads, bringing discipline to vehicle parking, and educating drivers and owners. This issue will be resolved on a priority basis with the help of traffic police. Unauthorized Constructions: I will continuously follow up to take legal action against unauthorized constructions in the ward and take care to ensure that no unauthorized construction happens in the future. Drinking Water Planning: Since most of the area in my ward is hilly, my focus will be on technical aspects and modern solutions such as pump houses, underground water tanks, repairing damaged pipelines, and preventing water theft and leakage to ensure abundant drinking water reaches the last citizen. Slum Redevelopment: Since there are a large number of slum areas in my ward, I will take the initiative to implement a cluster redevelopment scheme or a slum redevelopment scheme under SRA by following up with the government, and work with priority to ensure citizens get good quality permanent houses to improve their standard of living.
